I honestly don't know what can be done about Robert Mugabe.
Short of assassinating the dude (which i happen to think is a great idea and one very sure way to end things...) i don't think there is much that can be done.
Words won't sway Mugabe, sanctions only serve to hurt the people of Zimbabwe who have already been hurt too much and peace keepers would only meet resistance and possibly even more of incidence of violence.
ANd the worst thing is, Mugabe has won the election but that's not going to stop the violence. He's not going to stop until every member of the MDC is dead or has fled the country in fear of their life.
WHile i recognise what Morgan Tsvangerai did in pulling out of the election, could it be possible that the deaths of maybe, 100 more people would be better than the death of an entire nation?
While I am loath to say it because of how callus it seems, maybe it would have been better, but then again maybe the vote rigging may have been so wide spread it may have made no difference, and even now the violence continues so...
Whatever happens, i think Robert Mugabe is mentally unstable and paranoid and so obviously not fit to run Zimbabwe that the feeling of hopelessness that is sweeping the globe in relation to this situation is so bad that the end seems nowhere in sight...
