Anyone who knows me knows i am a diehard St Kilda supporter, I will live and die by their colours and nothing, NOTHING will get me to ever get me to criticise and not stand by them, as opposed to others....
I was at the Kangaroos/Saints match at Carrara on saturday and sitting next to my mum was a fellow saints fan who given any opportunity would put our players down, who would yell and scream at them and generally be horrible to them.
That's not the way to do it. No matter how bad they were playing, and they did play poorly in the first half(ish), or at least the first quarter, you still support your team.
SUre, some guys were having a rough night, but honestly, watching the game back as I am now, the players she was having a go at were nowhere near as bad as she was making out.
And yes i will admit i was yelling at them, words of encouragment and advice, because i'm like such an afl expert haha, but still i would never degrade them.
I love my boys and i always will and i have never been prouder than when i was when they won on saturday.
